On November 12, 2024, the Shougang New Energy Vehicle Soft Magnetic Materials User Technical Seminar was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. Two new products, 20SW1100Z and ESW1025R, were globally launched, along with several new technologies, including self-bonding coatings.

The 20SW1100Z is a comprehensive upgrade of the best product, 20SW1200, which has a thickness of 0.20 millimeters. It has achieved new breakthroughs in both strength and iron loss indicators. Additionally, Shougang has adopted an independently developed rapid self-bonding coating, which significantly enhances the core stiffness and thermal conductivity when the product is used in the drive motors of new energy vehicles, reducing iron loss by more than 10%.

The ESW1025R product is specifically designed for high-performance, high-speed motors. Its safety far exceeds that of conventional products, and it successfully overcomes the industry challenge of balancing low iron loss with ultra-high strength. The product breaks through the iron loss limit of 10 watts per kilogram, achieving the best iron loss level among industry-standard products of the same specification. Furthermore, focusing on the trend of increasing speed in the new energy vehicle drive motor industry, Shougang has also developed a high-strength new product, 25SWYS900.
