Recently, HSC Group has successfully developed and produced green high-end die steel through the triple process of EAF+LF+VOD (electric arc furnace + ladle refining furnace + vacuum refining furnace) with high quality clean raw material DRI products by hydro-metallurgy, which is the first time in the industry to apply this green metallurgical process in the special material industry. After inspection, the content of residual elements such as copper and nickel in die steel is better than the control level of full scrap steel smelting process, and the composition, performance and other indicators reach the industry leading level.

The project team of CMCC completed the process design and arrangement, mechanical design and installation, fiber grating sensor packaging and response testing, and the successful test of digital sensing crystallizer technology, which accurately displays the internal temperature image of the crystallizer, senses the bonding situation in casting, the cracks on the surface of the cast billet, the actual shape and undulation changes of the bending moon surface, and the blockage of the water spout, and reflects the influence of the casting process parameters on the casting and its stability. It helps operators to solve problems and optimize production.
