China has allocated 3 billion yuan for flood recovery efforts in Henan Province. In addition to government funding, the province has received widespread support from across the country.
Countless Chinese companies and individuals have actively contributed donations and emergency aid to the Zhengzhou region in Central China’s Henan Province, which was hit by severe rainstorms in late July.
Tech companies also pledged significant support. Alibaba Group and its payment unit, Ant Group, each announced a donation of 100 million yuan to Henan. The Jack Ma Foundation, established by Alibaba’s founder, contributed an additional 50 million yuan for disaster relief and recovery.
Huawei donated 30 million yuan to the Henan Charity General Federation and deployed over 1,100 engineers to help restore communication services in the region.

- Rongcheng Group: 20 million yuan
- China Minmetals: 20 million yuan
- China Baowu Iron and Steel Group: 10 million yuan
